An update on Wellness Way and the Olympus area, between Clermont and Winter Garden

And weren't we right? For at least three years we've been following this area between Clermont and Winter Garden, now called Wellness Way. From the first news about the approval of the Olympus project, the mega sports complex that will be built, to all the developments springing up around it.

If this region is new to you, be sure to watch the video below that we made in 2019 showing everything that is coming to the Clermont region. Much of what we talk about in the video is already happening.

The first residential project in the area was Ridgeview, which began sales to the general public with several units already sold during the pre-sale, and still has units available as sales take place in phases. Ridgeview currently has two builders offering plans: Pulte Homes and Hanover Family Builders.

Attached to Ridgeview, Beazer Homes is coming with another 341 lots. It is a well-known builder in the region, which is also responsible for Park View at The Hills in Minneola.

Lennar, one of the largest American construction companies, is also working at full speed there. The developer has approved a project for 1,850 single-family homes in the area. It will also be responsible for extending Hancock Rd to the Olympus area. For those who don't know, Hancock Rd will connect this area to Marsh Rd and Colonial Rd (US 50).

Finally, in 2021 Canadian developer GT Homes acquired a 700-acre site for $51.5 million. The area will be divided by the future expressway which will connect US-27 with SR-429, already in Winter Garden.
