Lakes at Harmony

The Lakes at Harmony is another active adult community (exclusively for people over 55) in the St. Cloud area. It's actually a sub-division within Harmony, a huge condominium that's more like a city.

Harmony is more than a community, it's a lifestyle with the peace and quiet of small-town living, surrounded by lakes and abundant natural areas. Harmony also has a central plaza, Town Square, with exclusive amenities, stores, a market, events and much more. Experience active living at its best with Harmony's exclusive golf course, Town Center, community events, walking trails and more.

In addition to Harmony's excellent amenities and convenient location, all homes come with large kitchens, open spaces and incredible luxury features already included.

Clubhouse

Among the amenities of the leisure area, you have at your disposal:

  • State-of-the-art clubhouse;
  • A large community center with a bistro, library, party room, craft room, billiards room and a concierge desk;
  • Fully equipped gym;
  • Golf course;
  • Natural lakes and ponds throughout the community;
  • Green spaces and recreational areas;
  • Numerous picnic areas;
  • Playgrounds for children;
  • Resort-style swimming pool;
  • Lighted tennis courts for day and night games;
  • Walking trails throughout the community.

Golf Course

Harmony Golf Preserve is a unique experience for the golfer. It is the only Johnny Miller signature course in Central Florida and was built on a 260-acre wildlife preserve. There are practically no houses along the course.

Harmony Golf Preserve features:

  • A layout of 7,428 yards;
  • A clubhouse with a fully equipped pro store, changing rooms with showers and complete practice facilities;
  • The acclaimed Champions Grill restaurant and lounge offers an exceptional menu;
  • The Clubhouse also includes a 3,000-square-meter banquet hall that can accommodate up to 250 people, making it a popular venue for weddings and other special events;
  • Golf lessons offered for all skill levels.

Town Square

Harmony's meeting point is the Town Center. It's the town's "Main Street", where people go to the stores, eat and meet their neighbors. The town square has an amphitheater, open space and, of course, plenty of benches along the parks. Around the square, you'll find the Golf Clubhouse, the Champions Grill restaurant and the Harmony Swim Club. The Marketplace includes stores, restaurants, a doctor's office and the market, where you can buy fresh fruit, vegetables or perhaps a good wine for dinner.

Lakes and trails

Harmony is surrounded by two large lakes, Buck Lake and Cat Lake. Everyone who steps off the dock at Buck Lake falls in love with the beauty and tranquillity of this 511-acre natural wonder. Both lakes are protected, with banks surrounded by trees.

At Buck Lake, you can use community-owned boats, kayaks and canoes to explore the lake. Only low-speed boats are allowed on Buck Lake, preserving the environment and keeping things calm.

Cat Lake has no public access. There are picnic areas by the lake and a spectacular wedding venue for couples who want a truly unique setting for their special day.

For those who appreciate the peace of a long walk, there are 12.5 kilometers of walking trails throughout Harmony, and many of the trails pass through beautiful nature reserves. Harmony's lakes and trails offer indescribable serenity and beauty!

Parks

Harmony has been carefully designed with parks close to all residences to encourage walking, jogging and biking. Lakeshore Park is the largest park, stretching along the south shore of Buck Lake and offering a covered playground, splash pad, basketball and shuffleboard courts, a soccer field, sand volleyball and walking trails.

Harmony's parks can be found in every condominium, providing a place where children can play and parents can watch them. There's even a dog park complete with a bathing area.

Other Activities

At Harmony, you can enjoy many activities. There's a community garden where you can grow your own fruit and vegetables and picnic areas at Cat Lake. And it's easy to keep track of what's going on - a community calendar is published every month with the daily activities at Harmony.
