Hamlin Phase 2

Hamlin is the centerpiece of Horizon West, one of the fastest growing mixed-use master-planned communities in the United States. In the "new suburbanism" style that is uniquely Horizon West, this sixth village will be larger than the other village centers and will act as the "town center" of the region. The area of Hamlin that fronts Lake Hancock is currently under construction and is designed to be highly "walkable" and integrated into the surrounding neighborhoods through a network of trails and parks along picturesque Lake Hancock.

This area will include up to 400,000 square feet of retail, restaurants, entertainment and hotels anchored by the Cinépolis Luxury Theatre. When the entire "Town Center" is completed, Hamlin will have nearly 2 million square feet of retail, restaurants, entertainment, hotels, medical facilities and offices, as well as thousands of single-family and multi-family residences.

Hamlin Phase 2

Phase 2, called Hamlin West, is across SR-429 from Hamlin Town Center, and will expand the commercial opportunities available in this award-winning master-planned community. This area will be designed to be walkable, encouraging residents and visitors to shop, stay, play and eat while enjoying beautiful views of the lake and high-traffic areas near offices and hotels. Selected locations will be supported by parking lots and garage buildings to better accommodate the public. The lakefront amphitheater, promenade, meeting spaces and mini parks enhance and expand Hamlin West's leisure options.

The land is currently being prepared. Since land clearing has just begun, it should take a while for companies to start occupying the space. All intensive work on the site, such as electricity, water and sewage, must be carried out before any buildings are constructed.

Hamlin West's "Master Plan".
